Make practical financial knowledge accessible through respectful conversation, useful exercises, and consistent habits. Members leave each meeting with at least one concrete action they can take.

Objectives:

1. Help members build budgets and emergency savings.

2. Improve understanding of credit, debt, investing, retirement, taxes, insurance, and consumer protection.

3. Encourage independent, informed decisions.

4. Create a welcoming, nonjudgmental learning community.

Membership and Participation

Open to adults age 18 and older at any knowledge or income level. No fees or required purchases. Registration is requested for planning and capacity. Attendance is voluntary; members may skip any question or exercise.

Conduct and Privacy

Treat everyone respectfully. No bullying, discrimination, shaming, pressure selling, or unsolicited financial solicitation. Do not repeat other members’ personal stories outside meetings without permission. Never require members to disclose account numbers, balances, credit scores, Social Security numbers, or tax documents. Participants may use hypothetical figures.

Administration

Club organizer oversees topics, room coordination, guest speakers, registration, accessibility, and member communications. Meetings normally last 90 minutes. Organizers may adjust topics and dates with advance notice. Photos and recordings require separate opt-in consent.
